Chris Van Aeken, Dip WSET, is passionate about wine, wine-making and the wine industry. 

He obtained the Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET) Higher Certificate (now called the WSET Level 3 Award in Wines) in 1996. Chris has visited many wine regions and wine-makers to deepen his knowledge. He regularly attends wine symposia, tastings and events.

He is a holder of the WSET Level 4 Diploma for which he won the Moet & Chandon Scholarship in 2013. Chris has organised several fine wine tastings around the world (in London, Zurich, Geneva, Hong Kong and New York). He has written a number of articles about wine.

Chris is a member of the Commanderie de Bordeaux (London and Suisse Romande chapters) and of several prestigious wine clubs, including Dr Wine.

He is an angel investor in a number of wine related ventures and companies.

Chris is now in the process of launching Van Aeken Advisors, a wine consultancy. He also publishes a blog about his wine experiences.
